Abstract:
Rural communities in many developing countries face persistent economic vulnerability due to limited access to technology, information, and market networks. This study aims to examine how the integration of digital media literacy and participatory education can contribute to rural economic empowerment. The research employs a qualitative approach using Participatory Action Research (PAR) conducted in Bringin Village, Tuban Regency, Indonesia. Community members, including youth groups, housewives, village officials, and BUMDes managers, were actively involved in the research process through participatory observation, focus group discussions, and semi-structured interviews. The intervention included digital marketing training, local product processing, and mentoring in social media-based entrepreneurship using soursop as a local resource. The findings indicate that digital literacy training significantly improved community capacity to market products independently, expand market reach, and increase the added value of local commodities. The emergence of the “Sirsak Toyyib” initiative illustrates how digital platforms can transform traditional agricultural products into marketable micro-enterprises. This study contributes to the development of a community empowerment model that integrates participatory education, local cultural values, and digital technology. The findings suggest that combining participatory approaches with digital literacy initiatives can foster sustainable economic transformation in marginalized rural communities.

Abstract:
This study examines the psychospiritual development of students in Islamic boarding schools (pesantren), focusing on how religious habituation, internalization of spiritual values, and social dynamics influence students' psychological well-being and religious motivation. The literature review synthesizes findings from previous studies on the role of religious practices such as congregational prayers, Qur’an recitation, and dhikr in shaping students' spiritual awareness and identity. Psychospiritual development in pesantren is shown to be an integrative process, affecting both spiritual and psychological dimensions, including concentration, self-regulation, and emotional stability. The study also explores the role of social factors, such as peer attachment and social support, in reinforcing religiosity and promoting psychological resilience. Additionally, it highlights the importance of religiosity in fostering hope, life satisfaction, and resilience, which contribute to students' subjective well-being. This paper proposes a conceptual model of psychospiritual development in pesantren, illustrating the interaction between religious habituation, value internalization, psychological regulation, and social support. The study concludes that psychospiritual development is a gradual and transformative process that evolves from external ritual compliance to intrinsic religious motivation, contributing to a sustainable form of religious consciousness among students.

The effect of the implementation of e-government and bureaucratic accountability on the level of public trust in public services in ambon city

Abstract:
This study examines the influence of e-government implementation and bureaucratic accountability on public trust in public services in Ambon City. Digital transformation in governance requires transparent, efficient, and accountable systems to build public trust. A quantitative approach with a survey design was used, involving 400 respondents selected through proportionate stratified random sampling. Data were collected using a structured questionnaire with a 5 point Likert scale and analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results show that e-government implementation positively and significantly affects public trust, with a regression coefficient of 0.368 (t = 8.745; p = 0.000). Bureaucratic accountability also significantly affects public trust, with a regression coefficient of 0.412 (t = 9.832; p = 0.000). Simultaneously, both variables have a significant effect on public trust, with an F value of 187.542 (p = 0.000) and an R² of 48.6%. The findings suggest that bureaucratic accountability plays a more dominant role than e government in shaping public trust. This study recommends a synergy between the development of digital systems and strengthening accountability practices to enhance public service quality and increase trust in local governments.

Abstract:
Islamic Religious Education (IRE) is an educational approach that emphasizes both cognitive understanding and mastery of spiritual values. In addition to this, IRE plays a crucial role in developing students' soft skills and nurturing their entrepreneurial spirit. In the context of Society 5.0, which is defined by technological advancements and human-centered innovation, students must be equipped with key competencies such as communication, creativity, collaboration, and decision-making, all grounded in religious values. Integrating IRE into the learning process allows students to cultivate empathy, responsibility, discipline, and a strong work ethic, which are essential for entrepreneurial success. This article aims to explore how adaptive and innovative IRE approaches can foster spiritual awareness and strengthen the entrepreneurial mindset of students in the face of global challenges. A qualitative descriptive approach was used, based on a literature study. The results show that the integration of Islamic values in IRE not only enhances students' spiritual development but also plays a significant role in their entrepreneurial growth. These findings emphasize that IRE provides a strategic framework for developing a more relevant educational ecosystem that can effectively address the evolving demands of the Society 5.0 era. By aligning Islamic values with entrepreneurial education, IRE contributes to creating well-rounded, socially responsible students prepared for success in the modern, technology-driven world.

Abstract:
Penetapan usia minimum perkawinan merupakan isu penting dalam hukum keluarga Islam kontemporer karena berkaitan erat dengan perlindungan hak anak, hak perempuan, serta tujuan kemaslahatan hukum. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis konsep usia perkawinan dalam perspektif fiqh klasik Sunni serta menelaah relevansinya terhadap penetapan batas usia numerik dalam hukum modern melalui pendekatan maqāṣid al-syarī‘ah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif normatif dengan desain doctrinal legal research, serta didukung oleh analisis komparatif terhadap pandangan mazhab fiqh dan perkembangan hukum keluarga modern. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa fiqh klasik tidak menetapkan batas usia minimum perkawinan secara numerik, melainkan mendasarkan kebolehan perkawinan pada indikator baligh, kecakapan hukum (ahliyyah), peran wali, serta prinsip pencegahan mudarat. Ketiadaan batas usia numerik tersebut bukan merupakan kekosongan normatif, melainkan mencerminkan pendekatan fiqh yang kontekstual dan berorientasi pada tujuan hukum. Melalui kerangka maqāṣid al-syarī‘ah, khususnya perlindungan jiwa, akal, keturunan, dan martabat manusia, penetapan batas usia minimum dalam hukum modern dapat dipahami sebagai bentuk maṣlaḥah mursalah yang sejalan dengan tujuan syariat. Dengan demikian, pembatasan usia perkawinan dalam konteks kontemporer bukanlah penyimpangan dari fiqh, melainkan aktualisasi nilai-nilai syariat dalam merespons perubahan sosial, perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan, dan kebutuhan perlindungan anak, sehingga mendukung harmonisasi antara fiqh klasik dan hukum keluarga modern.

Abstract:
Evaluasi pembelajaran memiliki peran penting dalam memastikan ketercapaian tujuan pendidikan, namun kualitas evaluasi sangat bergantung pada validitas dan reliabilitas instrumen yang digunakan. Dalam praktiknya, masih banyak instrumen penilaian yang belum melalui analisis empiris secara komprehensif, sehingga berpotensi menghasilkan pengukuran yang bias. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kualitas instrumen penilaian akhir semester pada mata pelajaran Al-Qur’an Hadits melalui pendekatan Model Rasch yang dipadukan dengan analisis faktor, yaitu Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) dan Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA). Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif dengan melibatkan 253 peserta didik kelas VII di MTsN 2 Kota Bukittinggi. Instrumen yang dianalisis terdiri dari 50 butir soal pilihan majemuk, dengan data dikumpulkan melalui teknik dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan perangkat lunak SPSS dan JASP untuk menguji validitas konstruk dan reliabilitas instrumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa instrumen memiliki karakteristik unidimensional berdasarkan analisis EFA, serta mengalami peningkatan kesesuaian model setelah dilakukan modifikasi pada tahap CFA, yang ditunjukkan oleh peningkatan nilai indeks fit dan penurunan nilai RMSEA. Selain itu, hasil uji reliabilitas menunjukkan nilai Cronbach’s Alpha sebesar 0,791 yang mengindikasikan konsistensi internal yang baik. Dengan demikian, instrumen yang dianalisis memiliki kualitas yang memadai untuk digunakan dalam evaluasi pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa integrasi Model Rasch dengan EFA dan CFA memberikan pendekatan yang lebih komprehensif dalam mengevaluasi kualitas instrumen, serta disarankan agar pengembangan instrumen dilakukan secara sistematis dan mencakup berbagai ranah kemampuan peserta didik.

Abstract:
The rapid transformation of education in the digital and global era requires approaches that not only emphasize cognitive achievement but also integrate moral and spiritual development, particularly in Islamic higher education. This study aims to analyze the implementation of Islamic-based holistic learning management in private Islamic universities in Jambi Province, focusing on how academic, moral, and spiritual dimensions are integrated, as well as identifying the challenges and opportunities encountered. This study employed a qualitative case study approach, with data collected through in-depth interviews, classroom observations, and curriculum document analysis, while triangulation techniques were used to ensure the validity and reliability of the findings. The results indicate that Islamic values-based holistic learning management enhances student engagement, motivation, and overall well-being by integrating values such as tawhid and ihsan into the learning process, while also emphasizing the need for curriculum reform that balances intellectual, character, and spiritual development. However, the study identifies several challenges, including limited technological infrastructure, insufficient human resource capacity, and resistance to change among educators. Overall, this study concludes that Islamic-based holistic learning management provides a relevant and effective approach to addressing contemporary educational challenges, although its successful implementation requires strong institutional commitment, investment in digital infrastructure, continuous professional development, and strengthened collaboration with communities and international partners.

Abstract:
Kurikulum pendidikan Islam di Indonesia terus mengalami transformasi seiring dengan dinamika globalisasi dan tuntutan pengembangan karakter peserta didik sejak usia dini. Dalam konteks ini, pendekatan humanistik menjadi penting karena mampu mengintegrasikan aspek kognitif, emosional, sosial, dan spiritual dalam proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran sejarah pendidikan Islam sebagai landasan konseptual dalam transformasi kurikulum yang lebih humanistik, serta mengkaji bagaimana literasi statistik dapat digunakan untuk memperkuat evaluasi efektivitas pendidikan Islam pada anak usia dini. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus, melalui pengumpulan data berupa wawancara mendalam dengan pendidik dan analisis dokumen kurikulum. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan humanistik berkontribusi terhadap penguatan karakter dan perkembangan sosial-emosional peserta didik, sementara perspektif sejarah pendidikan Islam memberikan legitimasi konseptual yang memperkuat integrasi nilai dalam pembelajaran. Selain itu, literasi statistik berperan dalam mendukung evaluasi pembelajaran secara lebih objektif dan berbasis data. Integrasi ketiga pendekatan tersebut menghasilkan model pembelajaran yang lebih kontekstual, adaptif, dan relevan dengan kebutuhan peserta didik. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa transformasi kurikulum pendidikan Islam perlu diarahkan pada pendekatan yang holistik dan evidence-based, dengan dukungan sistemik serta kolaborasi multipihak untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract:
Productive zakat programs in Indonesia continue to encounter structural challenges in achieving sustainable mustahik empowerment, as many initiatives remain focused on short-term capital distribution rather than long-term capacity building. This study aims to examine how facilitator empowerment and catalytic roles influence mustahik empowerment by positioning entrepreneurial character as a mediating variable. A quantitative explanatory design was employed using survey data collected from mustahik participating in productive zakat programs, which were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) to assess both direct and indirect relationships among constructs. The findings indicate that facilitator empowerment and catalytic roles significantly enhance the entrepreneurial character of mustahik; however, their direct effects on empowerment outcomes are not statistically significant. Instead, entrepreneurial character emerges as the dominant factor and fully mediates the relationship between facilitation processes and empowerment outcomes. These results highlight that sustainable empowerment is primarily driven by internal transformation reflected in entrepreneurial attitudes and behaviors. In conclusion, zakat-based empowerment strategies should shift from output-oriented approaches toward strengthening entrepreneurial character through structured mentoring and catalytic facilitation, thereby promoting long-term economic self-reliance among mustahik.

Abstract:
Islamic boarding schools (pesantren) in Indonesia are increasingly confronted with simultaneous pressures arising from regulatory expansion, socio-cultural expectations, and digital transformation. While existing studies have largely focused on curriculum modernization and organizational hybridity, limited attention has been given to how value-based pesantren sustain institutional identity while adapting to change. This study aims to examine how Pondok Pesantren Modern Al-Anwar Pacitan reconfigures its institutional structure through the interaction of norms, systems, and leadership agency, and to propose the concept of a “reconfigurative pesantren” as a novel analytical framework. This research employs a qualitative approach using a single instrumental case study design, with data collected through in-depth interviews involving the kiai, director, teachers, students, and guardians, complemented by participatory and non-participatory observations as well as institutional document analysis. Data were analyzed using thematic analysis following Miles et al. (2014) and Braun and Clarke (2006), supported by source, method, and time triangulation. The findings reveal a value-preserving institutional reconfiguration occurring through three interconnected dimensions: normative reconfiguration, where core values are institutionalized into vision, routines, and strategic programs; systemic reconfiguration, reflected in organizational restructuring and selective openness to external pressures; and agency reconfiguration, characterized by delegative-charismatic leadership that distributes authority while maintaining the moral legitimacy of the kiai. The interaction of these dimensions produces a reconfigurative pesantren model. The study concludes that pesantren function as selective and adaptive open systems that strategically transform institutional structures while preserving value continuity, offering a mechanistic explanation of sustainable transformation in value-based educational institutions.

Abstract:
The rapid adoption of generative artificial intelligence (AI), particularly ChatGPT, has transformed students’ academic practices, raising important questions regarding usage patterns, academic integrity, and learning behavior. This study aims to examine gender-based differences in the frequency of ChatGPT usage among university students and to identify which academic tasks show the most significant variation between male and female students. A quantitative survey design was employed, involving 20 English education students from Institut Parahikma Indonesia and UIN Alauddin Makassar, consisting of 10 male and 10 female participants. Data were collected through a structured Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed using descriptive statistics and comparative analysis to identify usage trends and behavioral patterns. The findings reveal that female students consistently demonstrate higher usage of ChatGPT across a wider range of academic functions, particularly in grammar improvement, understanding assignment instructions, and refining academic writing. In contrast, male students tend to use ChatGPT more selectively, mainly for comparing outputs and evaluating argument clarity. Both groups show low dependence on ChatGPT for full task automation, indicating maintained academic autonomy. The most significant gender-based difference is found in language enhancement tasks, where female students exhibit substantially higher engagement. These findings suggest that educators should consider gender-based preferences when integrating AI into learning environments and promote balanced, ethical, and critical use of generative AI to support effective and responsible academic practices

Abstract:
This study is motivated by the low learning outcomes of students in the Aqidah Akhlak subject, which are associated with limited variation in teaching methods, low student engagement, lack of concentration, passive participation, and decreased motivation to learn. These conditions indicate the need for a more adaptive and student-centered learning approach. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the implementation of differentiated instruction in improving students’ learning outcomes in Aqidah Akhlak learning. This research employed a Classroom Action Research (CAR) design using the Kemmis and McTaggart model, which consists of four stages: planning, acting, observing, and reflecting, conducted in two cycles with 33 Grade VIII students at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Tarbiyah Mazniyah Jambi. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and tests, and analyzed using descriptive quantitative and qualitative techniques. The results showed a significant improvement in students’ learning outcomes, as indicated by the increase in mastery levels from 55% (18 students) in the pre-cycle to 67% (22 students) in Cycle I, and reaching 100% (33 students) in Cycle II. In addition, student engagement and participation improved during the learning process. These findings indicate that differentiated instruction is effective in improving both learning outcomes and student engagement, and is relevant to be implemented in Aqidah Akhlak learning within the framework of student-centered education

Abstract:
This study examines the effectiveness of a flipbook-assisted training model in enhancing teachers’ competence in designing deep learning–based lesson plans within the context of elementary education. The research is grounded in the growing demand for integrating pedagogical and digital competencies to support meaningful learning aligned with contemporary curriculum reforms. A quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design was employed, involving 18 elementary school teachers participating in a structured training program. Data were collected through pre-test and post-test assessments, observations, questionnaires, interviews, and document analysis of lesson plans. The findings reveal a significant improvement in teachers’ competence, as indicated by increased post-test scores and the enhanced quality of lesson plans. Teachers demonstrated a shift from procedural and teacher-centered approaches toward more student-centered, structured, and reflective instructional designs. The use of flipbook media played a crucial role as a cognitive scaffold, enabling teachers to organize learning components more coherently and effectively. Furthermore, iterative training cycles supported sustained improvement through continuous reflection and refinement. These results suggest that integrating digital scaffolding with deep learning pedagogy provides a robust and practical model for teacher professional development. The study contributes theoretically by offering an integrated framework that bridges pedagogy and technology, and practically by presenting a replicable training model that can support sustainable instructional improvement in diverse educational contexts.

Abstract:
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perencanaan kurikulum bahasa Arab berbasis pendekatan kontekstual yang terintegrasi dengan pembelajaran kitab kuning dan program keagamaan di lingkungan pesantren. Latar belakang penelitian ini didasarkan pada masih dominannya pendekatan struktural dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab yang kurang mampu mengembangkan kompetensi komunikatif dan keterkaitan dengan praktik keagamaan. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus yang dilakukan di Pondok Pesantren Darussalam, Lampung, selama satu semester. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi partisipatif, wawancara mendalam dengan 12 partisipan, serta analisis dokumen kurikulum, dan dianalisis menggunakan model interaktif Miles dan Huberman melalui tahapan coding, kategorisasi, dan penarikan tema. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perencanaan kurikulum didasarkan pada enam prinsip utama, yaitu integrasi keilmuan, relevansi, pengalaman langsung, fleksibilitas, kolaboratif, dan integrasi kitab kuning, yang diwujudkan melalui keterpaduan antara bahasa Arab, program Tahfidz, Ubudiyah, dan Aqidah. Kurikulum memiliki karakteristik kontekstual, student-centered, dan berbasis praktik keagamaan dengan memanfaatkan metode tradisional seperti sorogan dan bandongan yang dipadukan dengan pendekatan modern. Temuan juga menunjukkan bahwa meskipun desain kurikulum telah komprehensif, implementasinya masih menghadapi tantangan pada aspek evaluasi autentik, variasi kemampuan siswa, dan keterbatasan waktu pembelajaran. Penelitian ini berkontribusi dalam menawarkan model kurikulum bahasa Arab yang integratif dan kontekstual berbasis pesantren, yang dapat menjadi rujukan bagi pengembangan kurikulum di lembaga pendidikan Islam serupa.

Abstract:
Narcotics abuse has emerged as a multidimensional governance challenge that requires a balanced approach between enforcement and rehabilitation, particularly in complex urban contexts. A qualitative case study approach was employed, utilizing in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis to capture the interaction between institutional, structural, and socio-environmental dimensions. The findings reveal that although rehabilitation is formally prioritized within the policy framework, its implementation remains constrained by inconsistencies in operational interpretation, limited institutional resources, fragmented inter-agency coordination, and varying organizational commitment. In addition, socio-environmental factors, particularly stigma and uneven public awareness, significantly hinder access to rehabilitation services. The study further demonstrates that these dimensions operate in an interconnected and systemic manner, where weaknesses in one aspect reinforce challenges in others, ultimately shaping uneven policy outcomes. While the policy has contributed to increasing awareness and supporting recovery efforts, its long-term effectiveness remains dependent on the alignment of implementation factors. Theoretically, this study advances policy implementation literature by integrating regulatory, institutional, and socio-cultural dimensions into a comprehensive analytical framework. Practically, it offers strategic insights for improving rehabilitation policy through enhanced operational clarity, capacity strengthening, coordination mechanisms, and stigma reduction. Overall, this study provides a critical and contextually grounded understanding of how rehabilitation policies can be implemented more effectively to achieve sustainable and humane outcomes in narcotics governance.

Contemporary debates on Islamic family law increasingly highlight a critical tension between enduring hierarchical legal formulations and evolving demands for gender justice in pluralistic societies. Despite extensive reform efforts, existing frameworks often fail to translate normative equality into substantive justice, particularly in the distribution of spousal rights and obligations. This study addresses this unresolved gap by reconstructing the conceptual foundation of spousal relations in Indonesian Islamic family law through a maqasid al-shariah–based gender justice approach. Using a qualitative normative–socio-legal design, the research analyzes legal texts, scholarly discourse, and institutional practices to examine how spousal roles are constructed, legitimized, and operationalized. The findings demonstrate that the prevailing legal framework remains structurally anchored in a hierarchical paradigm that equates economic provision with authority, thereby institutionalizing asymmetrical power relations and marginalizing non-material contributions. While material welfare is relatively safeguarded, broader maqasid objectives—particularly justice, reciprocity, and human dignity—are only partially realized. Unlike prior studies that address isolated dimensions of marital inequality, this research advances a comprehensive and integrative framework that reconceptualizes spousal relations as dynamic, reciprocal, and context-sensitive. The study thus moves beyond doctrinal critique by exposing the epistemological limitations of existing interpretations and proposing a relational and substantive justice model grounded in the holistic objectives of Islamic law. This contribution not only enriches Islamic legal scholarship but also positions the study within global discussions on gender, legal reform, and ethical governance. The rapid expansion of digital financial technology has introduced cryptoassets as a new form of wealth, raising complex legal challenges in inheritance systems, particularly within Islamic law. The decentralized and encrypted nature of cryptoassets complicates asset identification, access, and valuation, potentially leading to disputes among heirs. This study aims to examine the role of Islamic Family Law programs in developing Sharia-based solutions for cryptoasset inheritance disputes. Employing a qualitative legal research design, the study integrates normative and socio-legal approaches by analyzing classical Islamic jurisprudence, contemporary legal scholarship, and regulatory frameworks related to digital assets. The findings indicate that cryptoassets can be classified as inheritable property (māl) under Islamic law, provided they possess economic value and can be legally transferred. However, their technological characteristics require adaptive legal interpretation to ensure fair and transparent distribution. Islamic Family Law programs play a strategic role through academic research, legal education, community engagement, and institutional collaboration in bridging classical inheritance principles with contemporary digital realities. This study contributes theoretically by extending the discourse on Islamic inheritance law into the domain of digital assets and practically by highlighting the importance of institutional involvement in addressing emerging legal challenges. Abstract:
This study addresses the persistent gap between expected Qur’anic reading proficiency and actual student performance in Islamic secondary education, where inaccuracies in pronunciation, inconsistent application of tajwid rules, and limited fluency remain prevalent. Grounded in sociocultural and cognitive learning theories, this research aims to critically examine how tartil-based instructional strategies are implemented and how they contribute to improving students’ Qur’anic reading skills. A qualitative descriptive case study was employed, involving one Qur’an Hadith teacher, 32 students, and two institutional informants. Data were collected through classroom observations, semi-structured interviews, and document analysis, and analyzed using an interactive model to ensure analytical depth and rigor. The findings reveal that tartil-based instruction operates as a structured pedagogical cycle consisting of teacher modeling, guided practice, immediate feedback, repetition, and independent recitation. This process leads to significant improvements across four key indicators, namely makhraj accuracy, tajwid application, reading fluency, and tempo control. In addition, continuous corrective feedback and repetitive practice were found to play a central role in strengthening phonological awareness and reading automaticity. Beyond cognitive gains, the study also demonstrates notable affective improvements, particularly in students’ confidence, motivation, and engagement. Importantly, this research advances the conceptualization of tartil as an integrative instructional framework that bridges traditional recitation practices with contemporary pedagogical principles. By providing a process-oriented and context-sensitive analysis, this study contributes to global discussions on religious literacy and instructional design, offering a novel perspective for enhancing Qur’anic education in diverse learning environments.

The growing urgency of achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) has highlighted the need for innovative educational models that integrate ethical values with practical actions, particularly within faith-based institutions. Islamic boarding schools (pesantren) possess strong potential to contribute to sustainability through their integrative educational systems, yet the connection between religious values and sustainable economic practices remains insufficiently explored. This study aims to analyze the integration of ecotheology education into entrepreneurship practices, examine the process of value internalization, and evaluate its implications for SDG-oriented character development among students. A qualitative approach with an intrinsic case study design was employed at an Islamic boarding school in Indonesia. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and document analysis involving 15 key informants, and analyzed using thematic analysis supported by NVivo software. The findings reveal that the integration occurs through a three-dimensional approach—curricular, cultural, and operational—enabling the transformation of ecotheological values into sustainable entrepreneurial practices. The internalization process follows a cyclical pattern involving value formation, habituation, implementation, and reflection, resulting in the emergence of a Santri Ecopreneur profile characterized by ecological awareness, economic competence, and social responsibility. This study concludes that ecotheology-based entrepreneurship provides a viable and replicable model for linking religious education with sustainable development practices, contributing both theoretically to integrative Islamic education and practically to the advancement of SDGs at the community level.

Abstract:
This study examines the relationship between déjà vu in modern psychology and ru’yā ṣādiqah in the Qur’an as forms of anticipatory inner experience that appear to precede real events. The research aims to identify points of convergence at the level of human experience while critically distinguishing their epistemological foundations. A qualitative interdisciplinary design was employed, combining thematic Qur’anic exegesis with conceptual analysis of contemporary psychological theories. Relevant Qur’anic verses concerning ru’yā were systematically collected and interpreted using a thematic approach, then analytically compared with psychological explanations of déjà vu, particularly those related to memory processing, perceptual familiarity, and dream-based cognition. The findings reveal that both phenomena produce a strong sense that an event has been previously experienced before its actual occurrence, indicating a shared phenomenological structure. However, this similarity does not extend to their underlying nature. Déjà vu is identified as a cognitive phenomenon arising from internal processes such as memory mismatch and subconscious activation, resulting in uncertain and non-verifiable impressions. In contrast, ru’yā ṣādiqah is presented in the Qur’an as a structured and meaningful experience rooted in divine communication, characterized by clarity, truth, and eventual realization in historical reality. Their temporal structures also differ, with déjà vu reflecting retrospective recognition, whereas ru’yā ṣādiqah embodies prospective anticipation that is later confirmed. This study contributes by proposing a framework of phenomenological correspondence with epistemological divergence, offering a rigorous interdisciplinary perspective that maintains the distinction between cognitive experience and revelation.

This study investigates the ethical implications of Artificial Intelligence (AI) usage among university students and reconstructs a value-based ethical framework grounded in Islamic moral epistemology. The rapid integration of AI into academic practices has transformed how students engage with knowledge, raising critical concerns regarding authorship, academic integrity, and moral responsibility. This research adopts a qualitative interpretivist design to explore students’ experiences, ethical reasoning, and behavioral patterns in using AI within an اسلامی higher education context. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews, observations, and document analysis involving students and lecturers, and analyzed using a rigorous thematic approach. The findings reveal that AI has become an integral cognitive partner in academic work, enhancing efficiency while simultaneously reducing epistemic ownership and depth of understanding. More critically, the study identifies a persistent ethical ambiguity, where students struggle to distinguish acceptable AI use from academic misconduct, largely due to blurred authorship and the absence of clear institutional guidelines. The results further demonstrate a significant disconnection between students’ awareness of Islamic ethical values and their actual digital practices, indicating a contextual gap in moral application. In response, this study develops a reconstructed ethical framework that translates core Islamic values—honesty, trustworthiness, responsibility, and justice—into practical guidelines for AI usage. Theoretically, this research contributes by extending AI ethics discourse beyond Western paradigms and integrating spiritual and moral dimensions into digital ethics. This study critically examines the role of implicature in the Manggarai marriage proposal ritual as a culturally embedded communicative system that sustains social cohesion and collective identity in the face of accelerating global communication shifts. While dominant pragmatic theories emphasize clarity and efficiency, ritual discourse in incdigenous contexts reveals a contrasting logic where meaning is constructed through indirectness and shared cultural knowledge. Adopting a qualitative interpretive design grounded in sociopragmatics, this research integrates implicature theory and politeness theory to analyze naturally occurring discourse collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation involving fifteen participants across three ritual events. Thematic analysis identifies five interrelated functions of implicature: maintaining politeness and honor, mediating negotiation, reinforcing social hierarchy, managing rejection and conflict avoidance, and enabling cultural transmission. The findings demonstrate that indirectness operates not as a strategic option but as a normative communicative system that prioritizes relational harmony over informational transparency. This challenges the universality of established pragmatic frameworks by showing that communicative effectiveness is culturally defined rather than universally fixed. Furthermore, the study advances a conceptual repositioning of implicature from a micro-level inferential process to a macro-level socio-cultural mechanism that organizes interaction and reproduces social order. Practically, the findings offer implications for developing intercultural communicative competence and culturally responsive pedagogy. In contemporary democracies, the legitimacy of protest and state authority is increasingly shaped not only through direct confrontation but through mediated discourse, raising critical questions about how meaning, power, and control are constructed in the public sphere. This study reconceptualizes media framing as an ideological mechanism that actively produces and stabilizes state legitimacy by examining representations of repressive and persuasive policing in protest coverage. Drawing on an integrated framework combining framing theory with Althusser’s concepts of Repressive State Apparatus and Ideological State Apparatus, this research employs a qualitative critical interpretive approach to analyze 24 news articles from leading Indonesian online media during protests surrounding the revision of the Corruption Eradication Commission Law and the Draft Criminal Code. The findings reveal a systematic discursive pattern in which demonstrations are reframed from democratic expressions into problems of disorder, privileging narratives of conflict while marginalizing political grievances. Within this structure, the police are consistently constructed as legitimate protectors, whereas demonstrators are positioned as sources of instability through delegitimizing language, visual cues, and causal narratives. The study further demonstrates how external actors are strategically invoked to explain violence and how persuasive policing is discursively framed as ineffective, thereby normalizing the transition toward coercive intervention. These results challenge the conventional view of media as neutral intermediaries and establish framing as a structural site where ideology and coercion converge. By advancing a critical synthesis of framing and state theory, this study contributes a novel conceptual perspective to global scholarship on media and power, demonstrating that legitimacy is dynamically produced through discursive alignment rather than inherently possessed by state institutions

Amid the growing complexity of social interaction in contemporary education, concerns have intensified regarding the inadequacy of cognitive-centered approaches in preparing students for real-world interpersonal demands. This study fundamentally redefines the development of social intelligence by examining how it is socially constructed within Islamic secondary education through the dynamic interaction of teacher roles and school environments. Employing a qualitative multiple-case study design across three private Madrasah Aliyah, the research integrates semi-structured interviews, non-participant observations, and document analysis to capture nuanced interactional processes and lived experiences. The findings reveal that social intelligence does not emerge as an individual attribute but as an emergent, relational competence produced through structured and sustained social engagement embedded within pedagogical and institutional systems. Teachers act as critical agents who not only facilitate interaction but actively shape its quality through modeling, scaffolding, and feedback, while the school environment functions as an enabling structure that amplifies or constrains participation. Crucially, the study demonstrates that optimal development occurs only when these elements operate in synergy, forming a coherent and iterative social learning ecosystem. By challenging dominant outcome-based models of Social Emotional Learning, this research advances a process-oriented and system-based conceptualization of social intelligence as context-dependent and dynamically constructed. The growing marginalization of traditional textual knowledge in the face of rapid socio-cultural transformation has exposed critical limitations in conventional approaches that treat texts as static and self-contained artifacts. Addressing this gap, this study reconceptualizes Wulangreh as a dynamic cultural system sustained through the interaction of textual plurality, performative practice, and community-based transmission. The study aims to develop an integrated analytical framework that explains how these dimensions collectively shape the sustainability of living textual traditions. Employing a qualitative interpretivist design, the research combines philological analysis of seven manuscript variants with performance ethnography across three pitutur communities in Magelang, Indonesia, supported by in-depth interviews, structured observations, and document analysis. The findings reveal that the endurance of Wulangreh does not depend on preservation in fixed textual forms but emerges through continuous social enactment, where communities actively construct and negotiate meaning. Textual variation is shown to follow structured patterns that reflect distinct transmission lineages, while performative practices selectively reorganize textual elements in response to contextual, aesthetic, and social considerations. These processes demonstrate that variation and adaptation are not indicators of instability but constitute core mechanisms of cultural resilience. This study is among the first to empirically integrate philological and performative perspectives into a unified model of textual sustainability, thereby extending the theoretical framework of performative philology. By positioning Wulangreh within the global discourse on living traditions, the study provides a new conceptual foundation for understanding how cultural texts endure in dynamic social environments and offers actionable insights for sustaining community-based knowledge systems.

This study addresses the growing concern over students’ moral and behavioral challenges in contemporary education, where discipline is increasingly recognized as a fundamental component of character formation. The study aims to examine how school stakeholders perceive and implement disciplinary practices in fostering students’ character at SMP Al-Azhar Mandiri Palu, Indonesia. A descriptive qualitative research design was employed, involving semi-structured interviews with the principal, teachers, security personnel, and ninth-grade students, complemented by observations and document analysis. Data were analyzed using an interactive model consisting of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing, with triangulation applied to ensure credibility. The findings reveal that discipline is cultivated through a holistic and integrative approach involving structured school regulations, consistent supervision, parental involvement, and mentoring practices that emphasize self-reflection rather than punitive measures. Internal factors such as students’ motivation and habits, as well as external factors including teacher guidance, security enforcement, and institutional policies, interact dynamically in shaping disciplined behavior. The study also highlights that the integration of ecological collaboration, religious-humanist values, and autonomy-supportive practices fosters the internalization of discipline among students. In conclusion, effective discipline development requires a comprehensive framework that combines clear regulations, relational support, and intrinsic motivation to promote sustainable character formation in secondary education.

This study offers a novel sociological reinterpretation of hadith on grave visitation by examining its transformation from a normative legal discourse into a dynamic and institutionalized social practice. Abstract:
The increasing demand for effective school–parent collaboration in the digital era has highlighted the limitations of conventional communication practices, which are often characterized by one-way information flow, lack of structure, and limited parental engagement. This study aims to develop and evaluate a website-based participatory communication management system designed to enhance the effectiveness of educational collaboration in elementary schools. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the ADDIE model, integrated with a sequential exploratory mixed methods design. Data were collected through observations, interviews, document analysis, and questionnaires involving 24 participants, including school leaders, teachers, administrative staff, and parents. Qualitative data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman interactive model, while quantitative data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and pre-test–post-test comparisons with the support of SPSS. The findings indicate that the developed system, integrated with the SOFIA application, is highly valid, practical, and effective. The effectiveness of school–parent collaboration increased significantly from 59.44% (moderately effective) to 87.94% (highly effective), accompanied by improvements in communication transparency, parental involvement, and the quality of two-way interaction. These results demonstrate that a structured and participatory digital communication system can transform fragmented communication into a collaborative and transparent process. The study contributes theoretically by integrating participatory communication principles with digital system design and offers a practical model that can be adopted by schools to strengthen stakeholder engagement and educational outcomes.

Abstract:
Religious moderation has become a strategic issue in contemporary Islamic education in Indonesia, particularly amid the rise of intolerance, extremism, and the weakening connection between religious learning and local culture. In this context, wayang dakwah serves as a cultural medium that bridges Islamic values, local wisdom, and socio-religious education. This study aims to analyze the role of wayang dakwah in internalizing religious moderation and to reconstruct an integrative paradigm of contemporary Islamic education based on cultural approaches. The study focuses on the construction of cultural da’wah, the internalization of moderation values, the role of dalang, and the educational implications of wayang dakwah in Boyolali Regency. This study employed a qualitative case study design. The research was conducted in Boyolali Regency from July to December 2025. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation involving 10 dalang as informants, with Ki Sri Setyo as the key informant. Data were analyzed through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that wayang dakwah functions not merely as traditional performance art but also as a medium of cultural da’wah that effectively internalizes the values of tolerance, anti-violence, justice, deliberation, and respect for local traditions. Dalang play strategic roles as value educators, cultural mediators, public communicators, and agents of religious moderation. Wayang dakwah is relevant for strengthening religious moderation and reconstructing contemporary integrative Islamic education in a more contextual, humanistic, and transformative way.

Abstract:
Persistent educational inequality in peripheral regions continues to undermine students’ competitiveness in high-stakes standardized assessments, particularly when instructional practices remain misaligned with the cognitive and affective demands of such tests. Addressing this gap, this study investigates the effectiveness of an integrated visual-digital and public speaking pedagogical model in enhancing students’ readiness for the Basic Competency Test (SKD) in Kupang City, Indonesia. Employing a mixed-methods quasi-experimental design with a pretest–posttest structure, the study involved 60 senior high school students selected through purposive sampling. The intervention combined multimedia-based instruction to strengthen analytical reasoning and general knowledge with public speaking training to develop confidence and situational judgment. Quantitative analysis using paired sample t-tests and effect size measures revealed statistically significant improvements across all domains, with large effects observed in cognitive outcomes and moderate yet meaningful gains in affective competencies. Qualitative findings further indicated increased engagement, motivation, and active participation as key mechanisms underlying these improvements. Importantly, the results demonstrate that pedagogical integration exerts a more decisive influence on learning outcomes than technological infrastructure alone, challenging dominant assumptions in digital education discourse. The study advances a novel dual-domain learning framework that explicitly integrates cognitive processing and affective readiness as interdependent drivers of performance. From a practical standpoint, the findings offer a scalable and context-sensitive instructional model for underserved regions. Ultimately, this research argues that achieving educational equity requires not merely expanding access to technology, but fundamentally reconfiguring pedagogy to align with the holistic learning needs of students in resource-constrained environments.

Integrating Surakarta local wisdom into character education: A quantitative study in elementary schools

Abstract:
This study investigates the extent to which local wisdom predicts the multidimensional character development of elementary school students within a culturally grounded educational context. Despite increasing global emphasis on character education, empirical evidence remains limited regarding how culturally embedded values can be operationalized as measurable predictors of specific character outcomes. Addressing this gap, the study employs a quantitative cross-sectional design involving 300 students selected through stratified random sampling in Surakarta, Indonesia. Data were collected using psychometrically validated instruments measuring local wisdom and four character dimensions: religiosity, responsibility, tolerance, and environmental concern. Multiple regression analysis reveals that local wisdom significantly predicts all dimensions, with the strongest effect on religiosity (β = 0.55, R² = 0.30), followed by responsibility (β = 0.48, R² = 0.24), tolerance (β = 0.40, R² = 0.16), and environmental concern (β = 0.32, R² = 0.10). These findings demonstrate a systematic gradient in which culturally reinforced values are more effectively internalized than those requiring complex behavioral enactment. This study is among the first to empirically validate a multidimensional and culturally specific model that integrates local wisdom into a statistically robust framework of character development. The results extend existing theoretical perspectives by introducing cultural intensity and behavioral complexity as key mechanisms shaping value internalization and action. Practically, the study highlights the need to complement cultural integration with experiential and action-oriented pedagogies, particularly for behavior-driven character domains. Overall, the findings reposition local wisdom as a measurable and strategically significant foundation for designing contextually responsive and globally relevant character education systems.

Abstract:
The growing significance of Islamic social finance has intensified scholarly attention toward zakat institutions as strategic instruments for socio-economic development, particularly in relation to governance quality and institutional legitimacy. This study aims to systematically examine the relationship between constitutional legitimacy and good governance within the context of zakat management, with a specific focus on the National Board of Zakat (BAZNAS) from an Islamic economics perspective. Employing a qualitative design through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR), this study follows the PRISMA framework to identify, screen, and analyze 50 peer-reviewed articles indexed in Scopus published between 2015 and 2025. Data were analyzed using thematic analysis supported by structured coding to identify patterns in governance dimensions, legitimacy constructs, and theoretical frameworks. The findings reveal that good governance, characterized by transparency, accountability, and effectiveness, serves as the central determinant of institutional credibility and zakat compliance. While constitutional legitimacy provides a formal legal foundation, it does not automatically ensure public trust; instead, legitimacy is dynamically constructed through governance performance. The study further highlights the mediating role of trust in linking governance practices to compliance behavior, as well as the emerging significance of digital transformation and SDG alignment in strengthening institutional impact. Theoretically, this study integrates Institutional Theory with Maqasid al-Shariah to propose a more comprehensive framework for zakat governance. In conclusion, the effectiveness and sustainability of zakat institutions depend on the continuous alignment between legal authority, governance quality, and ethical principles, positioning zakat as both a religious obligation and a strategic tool for sustainable socio-economic development.

Abstract:
The rapid expansion of digital technologies has fundamentally reconfigured the production, circulation, and interpretation of Islamic knowledge, creating profound challenges for the construction of Islamic identity in increasingly multicultural societies. Despite growing scholarly attention to digital religion and Islamic education, existing studies remain fragmented and have yet to offer an integrative framework that explains how interpretive processes shape identity formation. This study addresses this gap by examining how Qur’anic vocabulary interpretation can function as a strategic pedagogical mechanism for reframing Islamic identity in the digital era. Employing a qualitative theory-building approach, the study synthesizes insights from 65 scholarly sources, including peer-reviewed journal articles and academic books, to develop a comprehensive conceptual model. The analysis focuses on key Qur’anic concepts such as ‘adl (justice), rahmah (compassion), and ummah (community), exploring their transformation within digitally mediated and culturally diverse learning environments. The findings reveal that digital platforms shift interpretive authority from hierarchical structures to participatory ecosystems, enabling learners to actively construct meaning while simultaneously exposing them to fragmented and decontextualized interpretations. This dual dynamic generates a critical paradox in which increased accessibility often undermines interpretive depth and coherence. In response, this study proposes the “Mufradat Connect” model, an integrative framework that combines layered interpretation, digital engagement, and intercultural dialogue. The study contributes theoretically by advancing a vocabulary-centered paradigm that bridges Islamic education, digital religion, and identity studies, and practically by offering a structured approach for designing contextually responsive learning environments. Ultimately, it redefines Islamic identity as a dynamic, reflective, and contextually grounded construct capable of navigating the complexities of the contemporary global landscape.

Abstract:
Perkembangan pesat ekonomi digital telah secara fundamental mengubah struktur interaksi pasar sekaligus memperkuat permasalahan asimetri informasi, khususnya melalui distorsi representasi produk dan manipulasi persepsi dalam ekosistem e-commerce. Meskipun teori ekonomi konvensional menjelaskan fenomena ini sebagai ketidakseimbangan informasi, pendekatan tersebut masih belum memiliki kerangka normatif yang memadai untuk mengevaluasi implikasi etisnya secara komprehensif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merekonstruksi konsep taghrīr sebagai praktik manipulasi informasi melalui pendekatan analisis berbasis hadis, serta mengkaji relevansinya dalam menjelaskan distorsi pasar digital kontemporer. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain kualitatif berbasis studi kepustakaan dengan mengintegrasikan metode validasi hadis klasik, yaitu analisis sanad dan matan, dengan kerangka teori asimetri informasi. Teknik purposive sampling digunakan untuk memilih hadis-hadis utama yang berkaitan dengan praktik penipuan dalam transaksi, yang kemudian dianalisis melalui proses interpretasi dan kontekstualisasi secara sistematis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa taghrīr memiliki legitimasi epistemologis yang kuat dan dapat diredefinisi sebagai bentuk normatif dari asimetri informasi dalam sistem ekonomi digital. Selain itu, penelitian ini mengidentifikasi berbagai manifestasi taghrīr dalam e-commerce, seperti deskripsi produk yang menyesatkan, manipulasi ulasan, biaya tersembunyi, serta aset digital spekulatif, yang tidak hanya merugikan konsumen secara individual tetapi juga mengganggu kepercayaan dan efisiensi pasar secara sistemik. Dengan menjembatani epistemologi Islam dan teori ekonomi modern, penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi konseptual dalam pengembangan kerangka analisis etika pasar digital. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya integrasi antara regulasi teknis dan prinsip etika untuk mewujudkan sistem ekonomi digital yang transparan, akuntabel, dan berkelanjutan dalam konteks global.

Abstract:
The rapid development of digital technology has encouraged the transformation of assessment practices toward more interactive and student-centered approaches; however, the use of game-based tools as formal summative assessment instruments remains limited, particularly in Islamic education. This study aims to develop, validate, and evaluate a game-based summative assessment instrument for Qur’an Hadith learning using the Crossword Labs platform. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) design based on the ADDIE model and adopted a mixed-methods approach involving 92 Grade VII students, 3 teachers, and 5 expert validators. The developed instrument, referred to as the Qur’an Hadith Crossword Labs (QHCL), integrates assessment items into a crossword puzzle format to enhance engagement while maintaining measurement rigor. The results indicate that the instrument achieved high content validity, with Aiken’s V values ranging from 0.868 to 0.971, and strong reliability, with a Cronbach’s Alpha coefficient of 0.804. Furthermore, the effectiveness test showed a high level of performance, with an average effectiveness score of 3.95 (very effective) and students’ achievement scores reaching 91.92 and 96.71 in the respective schools. These findings demonstrate that the QHCL instrument is valid, reliable, and effective as a summative assessment tool. In conclusion, this study provides empirical evidence that game-based digital tools can be systematically developed into rigorous and engaging assessment instruments, offering both theoretical contributions to assessment research and practical implications for improving assessment practices in Islamic education

Abstract:
This study examines the effectiveness of court-annexed mediation in resolving divorce disputes in Indonesian Religious Courts. Mediation has been institutionalized through Supreme Court Regulation No. 1 of 2016 as a mandatory stage in civil litigation, including family law disputes. Using a qualitative socio-legal approach, this research analyzes the legal framework of mediation and its implementation in divorce cases. The findings show that mediation provides an important forum for dialogue between spouses and may lead to reconciliation or negotiated agreements concerning post-divorce issues such as child custody and financial obligations. However, its effectiveness is influenced by several factors, including the willingness of the parties to negotiate, the level of marital conflict, and the competence of mediators. Strengthening mediator capacity and encouraging meaningful participation are essential to improve mediation outcomes.

Abstract:
The protection of children in faith-based educational institutions has become an increasingly urgent concern in global safeguarding discourse, particularly in contexts where religious authority strongly shapes institutional norms and practices. This study critically investigates the integration of the Qur’anic principle of ḥifẓ al-nafs (protection of life) within the framework of the Ministry of Religious Affairs Decree (KMA) No. 91/2025 and its implications for strengthening child protection in pesantren. Employing a qualitative normative–interpretive design, the study integrates thematic Qur’anic exegesis with systematic policy analysis through a structured analytical matrix that maps ethical constructs onto policy components. The findings demonstrate that ḥifẓ al-nafs constitutes a multidimensional safeguarding paradigm encompassing the sanctity of life, prevention of harm, preservation of dignity, ethical responsibility, and institutional accountability, all of which are substantively reflected in the structural design of KMA No. 91/2025. However, the study identifies a critical gap in the absence of explicit theological articulation within the policy, which constrains its normative resonance and limits deep institutional internalization. This study is among the first to operationalize maqāṣid al-sharī‘ah as a dynamic analytical framework for evaluating contemporary policy, thereby bridging the divide between Islamic ethical theory and modern governance. The findings further suggest that effective safeguarding in pesantren requires not only regulatory alignment but also the integration of Qur’anic ethical narratives to foster ethical internalization beyond procedural compliance. Ultimately, this study redefines faith-based child protection by proposing a value-driven policy model that is both culturally embedded and globally relevant, offering a new paradigm for safeguarding in religious educational systems.

Abstract:
Relasi antara agama dan sains dalam pemikiran Islam kontemporer masih diwarnai oleh ketegangan antara pendekatan integratif dan pendekatan yang menekankan netralitas sains. Polarisasi ini memunculkan kebutuhan akan kerangka konseptual yang mampu menjembatani kedua posisi tersebut secara proporsional. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis konstruksi sains Islam menurut Mehdi Golshani serta mengkaji posisi moderatnya di antara mazhab Islamis dan instrumentalis. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kepustakaan yang dianalisis secara filosofis-komparatif melalui kerangka multidimensi sains. Data diperoleh dari karya-karya utama Golshani dan literatur relevan dalam bidang filsafat ilmu dan sains Islam, kemudian dianalisis melalui proses reduksi, kategorisasi, dan interpretasi tematik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sains Islam menurut Golshani merupakan sains yang mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai Islam secara selektif pada dimensi metafisika, aspek epistemologis tertentu, teore fundamental, serta orientasi teoretis dan praktis sains. Sementara itu, pada dimensi metodologis dan teore deskriptif, sains tetap bersifat universal dan objektif sehingga tidak memerlukan intervensi nilai agama. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa Golshani menolak dua posisi ekstrem, yaitu islamisasi total sains dan klaim netralitas absolut sains, dengan menawarkan pendekatan integrasi moderat yang bersifat dialogis dan kontekstual. Penelitian ini berkontribusi secara teoretis dalam pengembangan filsafat ilmu Islam melalui model integrasi berbasis dimensi sains, serta secara praktis memberikan dasar konseptual bagi pengembangan kurikulum dan kebijakan pendidikan yang mengintegrasikan agama dan sains secara lebih substantif.

Abstract:
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kesantunan berbahasa dalam komentar online sebagai cerminan perubahan sosial dan tantangan komunikasi di era digital dan implikasinya dalam pengajaran bahasa Indonesia. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif dengan desain analisis wacana pragmatik. Sumber data berupa komentar online dari platform media sosial, yakni Instagram, Twitter, dan Facebook. Data dalam penelitian ini adalah komentar-komentar yang berisi ujaran santun dan tidak santun yang ditemukan dalam unggahan (postingan) tertentu. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik observasi partisipan pasif, observasi, dan catat. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis pragmatik, yang dapat dilakukan dengan langkah-langkah berikut: Identifikasi data, pilih dan kelompokkan komentar-komentar yang relevan dengan kesantunan berbahasa.

Hasil penelitian menujukkan bahwa kesantunan berbahasa rendah, ditandai dominasi ujaran bald on record tanpa mitigasi, yang mengancam muka positif melalui penghinaan dan ejekan, serta muka negatif melalui pembatasan kebebasan berpendapat. Emoji juga digunakan untuk memperkuat makna sarkastik. Implikasinya, pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia perlu mengintegrasikan kesantunan berbahasa berbasis konteks digital melalui analisis contoh autentik, guna meningkatkan literasi digital, etika komunikasi, dan kompetensi pragmatik siswa.

Abstract:
Character education has become increasingly critical in addressing the moral and social challenges faced by children in the era of globalization and digital transformation, where cultural disconnection and declining social values are evident. This study aims to analyze tembang dolanan as a medium for internalizing children’s character values within the framework of culture-based education and to explain the mechanisms underlying this process. Using a qualitative approach with a systematic library research design, this study examines 42 scholarly sources related to cultural pedagogy, character education, and local wisdom. The analysis employs qualitative content analysis through coding, categorization, and thematic synthesis. The findings reveal that tembang dolanan functions as a culturally embedded pedagogical medium that facilitates the internalization of values such as religiosity, cooperation, discipline, responsibility, honesty, and creativity. This process occurs through four interconnected mechanisms: repetition, emotional engagement, social interaction, and experiential learning. Based on these findings, the study proposes the Cultural-Experiential Internalization Model (CEIM), which conceptualizes value internalization as a dynamic interaction between cultural input, learning processes, and character outcomes. The study concludes that tembang dolanan is not merely a cultural artifact but a relevant and adaptive educational resource that can support holistic character development when integrated into modern educational practices. This research contributes theoretically by offering an integrative conceptual model and practically by providing a foundation for developing culturally responsive character education strategies.

Female-headed households represent a socially and economically vulnerable group due to limited access to capital, employment opportunities, and social support. Productive zakat programs implemented by Badan Amil Zakat Nasional (BAZNAS) are designed not only to assist beneficiaries in meeting basic needs but also to promote long-term economic independence. A holistic empowerment approach that integrates economic, social, and psychological dimensions is considered essential so that the program contributes not only to income improvement but also to strengthening individual capacity and social positioning. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of the productive zakat program implemented by BAZNAS Banyumas Regency in empowering female-headed households through an integrated economic, social, and psychological empowerment approach. This study employs a descriptive qualitative research design. The research population includes female-headed household beneficiaries of the productive zakat program, BAZNAS administrators, and business mentors. Data were collected through participant observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation studies. The data were analyzed thematically through the stages of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that the productive zakat program generates positive impacts across multiple dimensions of empowerment. Economically, the program increases income, strengthens business independence, and expands access to capital and markets. Socially, it enhances social participation and strengthens local organizational networks. Psychologically, beneficiaries demonstrate improved self-confidence, greater decision-making capacity, active participation, and stronger mental resilience. The productive zakat program proves to be an effective instrument for empowering female-headed households. Program sustainability should be strengthened through continuous business mentoring, integration of psychosocial support, and expansion of market networks to ensure long-term empowerment outcomes.

Emotional Literacy in Learning to Write Descriptive Texts Through The Multisensory PjBL Model Based on Favorite Objects in Elementary Schools

Abstract:
This research examines the effectiveness of a multisensory Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model based on cherished objects in enhancing the emotional literacy of fourth-grade elementary school students when writing descriptive texts. Using a descriptive phenomenological qualitative approach, the study involved 28 students from SD Muhammadiyah 9 Malang in the 2025/2026 academic year. Data were collected through participant observation (8 meetings), in-depth interviews, text analysis and reflection journals. The results show a significant improvement in the quality of the descriptive texts (average +64.6%), particularly in the expression of personal emotions (+110.7%) and sensory vocabulary (+72.0%). Four main themes emerged: high emotional engagement, enrichment of sensory-affective details, development of self-awareness and self-regulation, and the transfer of emotional literacy to daily life (86.7% of parents reported their children being more open). The model successfully transformed student writing from mechanical prose into authentic and expressive narratives. The multisensory PjBL model based on cherished objects proved effective in integrating the affective dimension into descriptive text writing instruction and aligns with the holistic spirit of the Merdeka Curriculum.

Abstract:

The COVID-19 pandemic accelerated digital transformation in higher education, creating an urgent need for leaders who can effectively integrate digital technologies with conventional leadership approaches. However, many leaders still struggle to balance digital efficiency with relational effectiveness, which negatively affects the well-being and performance of the academic community.

This study examines the effects of a hybrid leadership model, which combines digital and conventional leadership approaches, on the psychological well-being and performance of the academic community in Indonesian higher education institutions. In addition, the study investigates the mediating role of well-being in the relationship between leadership and performance.

The study employed a sequential explanatory mixed-methods design. Quantitative data were collected from 200–300 respondents using stratified random sampling through validated instruments, including the MLQ-5X, PERMA Profiler, DASS-21, and the Individual Work Performance Questionnaire (IWPQ). Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) and Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) were used to test the proposed hypotheses. Furthermore, qualitative data were obtained through in-depth interviews and focus group discussions to enrich the interpretation of the quantitative findings.

The results supported all four hypotheses. Hybrid leadership significantly and positively influenced both psychological well-being (H1) and academic performance (H2). Well-being also demonstrated a significant positive effect on performance (H3). Moreover, well-being partially mediated the relationship between hybrid leadership and performance (H4), indicating that leadership contributes to performance both directly and indirectly through the enhancement of well-being.

Overall, the findings suggest that hybrid leadership effectively improves both well-being and performance in higher education institutions. Therefore, higher education leaders should develop dual competencies by strengthening digital fluency while maintaining authentic interpersonal leadership skills. In addition, institutions should integrate well-being initiatives into their performance management systems as a strategic component of sustainable organizational development.

Reconstructing Legal Rights over MSME Business Premises on State and Waqf Land: A Comparative Legal Study

Abstract:
This article reconstructs the legal framework governing proprietary rights over Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprise (MSME) business premises situated on state, regional, and waqf land in Indonesia. The study departs from the persistent legal uncertainty surrounding kiosks and stalls in government-owned traditional markets, particularly the weak proprietary status of SIPTU/SHPTU instruments. In response, the article develops a normative-comparative model of SKBG Tempat Usaha UMKM as a legal mechanism for strengthening the protection of MSME business premises.

The proposed model extends the concept of building ownership certificates under the Indonesian Flats Law, particularly the provisions relating to state, regional, and waqf land, from residential units to MSME business premises. Using statutory, conceptual, and comparative legal approaches, this article examines Article 60 of Government Regulation No. 7 of 2021, Article 53A of Law No. 11 of 2020, Government Regulation No. 17 of 2021, and relevant provisions of the Flats Law.

Comparative reflections on Pakistan and Turkey further strengthen the argument that public assets and waqf property can be institutionally transformed into inclusive economic infrastructure. The study finds that legal certainty for MSME business premises requires the implementation of the horizontal separation principle between land and buildings, transparent public registration, enforceable proprietary rights, and broader access to financing through fiduciary security or equivalent legal instruments.

The novelty of this article lies in its proposal for the doctrinal and institutional expansion of SKBG from a housing-oriented instrument into a legal framework applicable to MSME-oriented development on public and waqf land. This reconstruction is expected to strengthen legal certainty, improve access to financing, and support inclusive and sustainable economic development for MSMEs in Indonesia.

Legal Protection of Waqf Land Status Against Civil Acts of Individual Nazhir in Lease and Loan Agreements

Abstract:
This article examines the legal protection mechanisms governing the status of waqf land when individual nazhir (trustees) enter into lease (ijarah) and loan-for-use (ariyah) agreements. Although Indonesian Law No. 41 of 2004 on Waqf expressly prohibits the transfer of waqf property rights, the practice of leasing and lending waqf land gives rise to significant legal ambiguities regarding the transfer of management and usufruct rights.

This research employs a normative legal methodology using qualitative analysis of statutory regulations, Islamic jurisprudence, and comparative legal frameworks. The findings reveal a complex legal dichotomy: while ownership of waqf land remains perpetual and legally unchanged, the transfer of management and usage rights to lessees and borrowers may constitute a form of rights alienation that potentially conflicts with national regulations concerning waqf protection. Nevertheless, classical Islamic jurisprudence demonstrates greater flexibility by permitting such arrangements, provided that the resulting benefits are directed toward public welfare (maslahah) rather than private interests.

This study proposes a comprehensive legal framework that harmonises Indonesian positive law with Islamic legal principles through the establishment of clear standards for nazhir accountability, transparent documentation procedures, and robust oversight mechanisms. By bridging the gap between rigid statutory restrictions and the practical flexibility recognised in Islamic jurisprudence, the proposed framework seeks to ensure that lease and loan agreements function as effective instruments for optimising underutilised waqf assets while fully preserving their perpetual status and original philanthropic purpose.

Abstract:
The growing need for holistic education has highlighted the importance of fostering
students’ self-awareness alongside cognitive achievement. However, educational
practices often emphasize academic outcomes while paying limited attention to
reflective, spiritual, and ecological dimensions of learning. This study aims to
examine how ecotheology-based learning contributes to the development of
students’ self-awareness during the learning process at MTs Pakis Cilongok, a
madrasa located on the slopes of Mount Slamet, Central Java, Indonesia. The study
employed a qualitative descriptive case study approach involving a school
principal, teaching volunteers, and students selected through purposive sampling.
Data were collected through semi-structured interviews, participant observation,
and document analysis and were analyzed using thematic analysis. The findings
reveal that the integration of ecotheological values into learning activities,
including outdoor learning, observation and photography of local flora and fauna,
nature reflection, and contextual practices such as coffee-processing activities,
creates meaningful learning experiences that encourage self-reflection,
responsibility, emotional regulation, and intrinsic motivation. Three major
dimensions of students’ self-awareness emerged from the analysis: self-reflection,
responsibility for learning, and spiritual meaning-making. Students increasingly
perceived learning not only as an academic task but also as a process connected to
personal growth, worship, and ecological responsibility. The study concludes that
ecotheology-based learning functions as an effective psychopedagogical medium
for fostering students’ self-awareness and supports the development of holistic,
value-oriented, and sustainable educational practices within Islamic educational
settings.

Abstract:
public procurement disputes because it directly affects legal certainty, contractual governance, and the finality of arbitration. This study aims to analyse and compare the legal reasoning adopted in Arbitration Award Number 01/LPS-PBJP/01/2024 and Kediri District Court Decision Number 56/Pdt.Sus-Arb/2024/PN Kdr concerning a dispute over the development of green open space land in Kediri City Square, with the objective of identifying the factors that produced divergent legal outcomes. The research employed a qualitative normative legal approach using both statute and case approaches. Primary legal materials consisted of relevant arbitration regulations and the two decisions under examination, while secondary materials included scholarly literature on arbitration, judicial review, and public procurement disputes. The findings reveal that both forums agreed that fault in contract management was shared by the contractor and the procuring authority. However, the arbitral tribunal annulled the contract termination and rejected the blacklist sanction, whereas the district court annulled the arbitral award after determining that the MC-50 progress recapitulation had not been adequately considered and that contractual changes should have been formally documented through a written addendum. The study concludes that the disparity between the two decisions originated not from conflicting factual findings but from differences in evidentiary assessment and contractual interpretation, highlighting the importance of evidentiary discipline and contractual documentation in preserving the practical finality of arbitration in Indonesian public procurement disputes.

Religious Activities and the Construction of Religious Character Among Children with Special Needs in Inclusive Schools in Palembang

Abstract:
Inclusive education seeks not only to ensure equal access to education but also to foster the holistic development of children with special needs, including their religious character. However, limited adaptive educational strategies and the absence of systematic frameworks for integrating religious activities into inclusive learning environments continue to challenge the effectiveness of religious character education. This study aims to examine the construction of religious activities, explore their implementation, and analyze their contributions to the development of religious character among children with special needs in inclusive schools in Palembang, Indonesia. Employing a qualitative multiple-case study design, the research was conducted at SD Negeri 30 Palembang and SMP Negeri 13 Palembang. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participant observations, questionnaires, and document analysis involving school principals, teachers, special education teachers, parents, and children with special needs. The data were analyzed using the interactive model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña, while trustworthiness was ensured through triangulation and member checking. The findings reveal that religious activities are systematically constructed through students' needs assessment, adaptive learning objectives, contextual religious content, differentiated instructional strategies, and collaborative partnerships among schools and families. Their implementation is strengthened through habituation, teacher role modelling, individualized mentoring, and inclusive school culture. These practices contribute significantly to the development of worship habits, spiritual awareness, discipline, responsibility, empathy, respect, and positive social interaction among children with special needs. The study concludes that religious activities constitute an adaptive and sustainable educational framework for fostering religious character within inclusive schools. The findings contribute to the advancement of inclusive religious education by providing a contextual model for integrating religious values into character development among children with special needs.

Abstract:
This study examines the transformation of Aqidah Akhlak values in shaping the character of taqwa (God-consciousness) and the attitude of scientific discipline among female students (santri) at Pondok Pesantren Putri Salafiyah Bangil and Banat 2 Sidogiri. The research employed a qualitative approach with an ethnographic design. Data were collected through participant observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, involving the pengasuh (caregivers), ustazah (female teachers), administrators, senior students, and active students.

The findings reveal that the transformation of values occurs through instruction, role modeling, habituation, supervision, the application of ta‘zīr (educational sanctions), and the involvement of students in organizational management and teaching activities. This process develops from rule-dependent obedience toward the formation of habits and personal awareness. The character of taqwa is reflected in the regular performance of worship, honesty, self-control, fulfillment of responsibilities, and concern for others. Meanwhile, the attitude of scientific discipline is demonstrated through diligence in attending religious lessons, reading and reviewing classical Islamic texts (kitab), maintaining proper etiquette toward teachers, managing time effectively, preparing lessons, and completing assignments without continuous reminders.

This study identifies two models of value transformation. Salafiyah Bangil exhibits a relational-collective model based on the close interaction among administrators, amidi (student coordinators), senior students, and dormitory supervisors. In contrast, Banat 2 Sidogiri demonstrates a charismatic-structural model strengthened by the exemplary leadership of Bu Nyai, collective activities, and the consistent enforcement of institutional regulations. Both models indicate that the success of pesantren education is not merely reflected in students’ compliance with rules, but also in the development of religious awareness, responsibility in learning, and readiness to guide and mentor other students.

Abstract:
Conventional Qur’anic instruction in elementary schools often struggles with rigid delivery, student cognitive fatigue, and low recitation accuracy due to a lack of adaptation to children's developmental profiles. This study investigates the implementation of the standardized Ummi Method tailored to student characteristics at MI Miftahul Ulum 01 Bondowoso, examining its pedagogical execution, quality assurance, environmental management, and supporting/inhibiting factors. A qualitative case study design was employed. Data were gathered through extended classroom observations, document analysis, and in-depth interviews with the principal, Ummi coordinator, instructors, and students. Data analysis followed interactive qualitative procedures involving data condensation, presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that implementing the Ummi Method through its seven standardized stages, combined with diagnostic placement testing, small-group ratios (10–15 students), and multi-sensory differentiation, significantly improves students' tartil, reading fluency, and tajwid precision. Spatial management—alternating between indoor classrooms and outdoor terraces-effectively mitigates student fatigue. Furthermore, institutional interventions such as the Ummi Clinic and daily Achievement Books successfully resolve domestic practice gaps. Adapting a standardized Qur’anic methodology through differentiated instruction and spatial engineering creates a humanistic, effective learning ecosystem that elevates recitation quality while fostering religious character.

Abstract:
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is increasingly reshaping Outcome-Based Education (OBE) by expanding opportunities for personalized learning, curriculum responsiveness, assessment efficiency, and student support. In Islamic higher education, however, the growing reliance on measurable outcomes and algorithmic processes raises concerns about whether moral, spiritual, relational, and holistic dimensions of learning may receive insufficient attention. This study examines the curricular implications of AI-driven OBE through the perspective of thematic Qur’anic exegesis (tafsīr mawḍū‘ī). Using a qualitative library research design, the study integrates a structured review of contemporary scholarly literature published primarily between 2022 and 2026 with a thematic analysis of relevant Qur’anic concepts and classical and contemporary exegetical sources. The analysis reveals that AI can enhance learning personalization and support the alignment of educational processes with intended outcomes, while also creating concerns related to algorithmic bias, data privacy, transparency, and human agency. These developments are interpreted through the interconnected concepts of ta‘līm, tarbiyah, and ta‘dīb, which emphasize intellectual development, holistic nurturing, and moral cultivation. The study further identifies maqāṣid al-sharī‘ah as a normative basis for evaluating and governing AI in ways that uphold human dignity, intellect, justice, welfare, and accountability. An integrative framework is consequently proposed to connect AI-OBE implementation, ethical governance, competency and character development, and continuous quality improvement. The study concludes that AI should remain an enabling educational instrument guided by human judgment and Islamic ethical principles rather than becoming the primary determinant of educational value.
